He Atua, He Tangata
I am divine, I am human
I am a divine human being.

Sharon Rickard Kaimaatai Hinengaro - Clinical Psychologist
From the outset, I see people as divine; because we all whakapapa to tuupuna and Atua. A whakapapa that traces its source to the Atua; means greatness sits before me, a Rangatira. We are all experts on ourselves, we all have the answers, but sometimes we need some guidance or assistance in finding those answers and working out the solutions.
I offer my knowledge and clinical psychology skills in a very Maaori way. I work with Maaori people, usually waahine and rangatahi (male and female). My area of expertise is with individuals who have experienced trauma at some time in their lives and consequently live with levels of distress every day.
Therapy sessions are either in person, online, or both; it really depends on what works for each of us.
